Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Disconnect the wiring harness electrical connector.
Remove the upper and lower hinge access cover plates, if equipped.
- Mark the location of each hinge on the door.
- Mark the location of each hinge on the body.

Support the door.
Remove the 2 front door-to-lower hinge bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 N-m (3.1 kgf-m, 22 ft-lbf).

Remove the 2 front door-to-upper hinge bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 N-m (3.1 kgf-m, 22 ft-lbf).
Remove the hinge.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Inspect the door adjustment. See DOOR ADJUSTMENT .
