Belt TENSIONER Removal/Installation - 3.0L

  1. Remove the drive belt. See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 3.0L .
  2. Remove the belt tensioner bolt and belt tensioner.
  3. Install in reverse order of removal.
  4. Observe the location of the alignment tab on installation.

  5. Position the belt tensioner and install the bolt.

    Tightening torque: 

    Tighten to: 24-31 N.m { 2.4-3.2 kgf.m, 18-23 ft.lbf }.
