Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Removal/Installation - 2.3L: Installation

  1. Install the crankshaft rear oil seal on the crankshaft.
    • Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 10 N.m {1 kgf.m, 7 lbf}.

  2. Install the oil pan. See OIL PAN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.3L .
  3. Install the flywheel or flexplate. See FLY-WHEEL/FLEXPLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.3L .
