Generator Belt Adjustment

  1. Loosen mounting bolts. See Figure .
  2. Adjust the belt deflection or tension by turning the adjusting bolt.
  3. Tighten mounting bolts. Inspect the belt deflection or tension. See BELT DEFLECTION  or BELT TENSION  . If not within specification, repeat from step  1 . SeeBELT DEFLECTION/TENSION SPECIFICATIONS  table.
