Visual Inspection

- Remove the VSS. (See VEHICLE SPEEDOMETER SENSOR (VSS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ATX] .)
- Make sure that the sensor is free of any metallic shavings or particles.
- If any are found on the sensor, clean them off.
- Install the VSS. (See VEHICLE SPEEDOMETER SENSOR (VSS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ATX] .)
