Vehicle Speedometer Sensor (VSS) Removal/Installation [ATX]

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the VSS connector.
- Remove the VSS.
- Apply ATF to a new O-ring and install it on a new VSS.
- Install the VSS.
Tightening Torque
7.9-10.7 N.m {80-110 kgf.cm, 69.5-95.4 in.lbf}
- Connect the VSS connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
