Trunk Lid Removal/Installation: Notes

WARNING:

Removing the trunk lid without supporting it can be dangerous. The trunk lid may fall and injure you. Always perform these procedures together with at least another person.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
To remove the trunk lid hinge, remove the rear package trim. (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove in the order indicated in the table.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Adjust the trunk lid. (See TRUNK LID ADJUSTMENT .)
