Removal & Installation (2WD)

- Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheel assemblies and brake caliper. See FRONT DISC BRAKE PADS . Remove the two front disc brake caliper anchor plate bolts. Remove the front disc brake caliper anchor plate. Remove grease cap, cotter pin, retainer, adjusting nut, washer and outer bearing. Carefully remove hub and rotor assembly. Remove inner bearing and seal. See Fig 1 .
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust front wheel bearings. See FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS under ADJUSTMENTS. Tighten bolts/nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
