Magnetic Clutch Adjustment

  1. Check the A/C clutch air gap at three equally spaced places between the clutch hub and the A/C clutch pulley.
  2. Remove the magnetic clutch. See MAGNETIC CLUTCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  .
  3. Add or remove spacers between the A/C clutch and the A/C clutch and the compressor shaft until clearance is within specification (0.35-0.85 mm, 0.014-0.033 in.).
