Inspection Of Individual Parts

- Remove the TFT sensor. See TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Place the TFT sensor in ATF with a thermometer as shown and heat the ATF gradually. Do not allow the test pieces to touch the bottom.
- Measure resistance between the terminals of the TFT sensor. See Figure.
- If not as specified, replace the TFT sensor. See TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- If it is normal, replace the harness.
- Install the TFT sensor. See TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
