Clutch Pedal Free Play

  1. Adjust clutch pedal height. See CLUTCH PEDAL HEIGHT . Depress clutch pedal by hand until resistance is felt. Measure clutch pedal free play. See Figure. Adjust free play by loosening lock nut and rotating clutch master cylinder push rod until free play is within specification. See CLUTCH PEDAL SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  2. Depress pedal to floor. Measure disengagement height from upper center pedal pad to carpet. Adjust disengagement height if not within specification. See CLUTCH PEDAL SPECIFICATIONS  table. Tighten lock nut.
