On-Vehicle Inspection

Remove the engine cover.
(See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the catalytic converter.
(See EXHAUST SYSTEM .)
Remove the insulator.

Disconnect the solenoid valve connector.

Measure resistance between the terminals C and D.

- If there is any malfunction, perform the off vehicle inspection for TFT sensor. (See OFF-VEHICLE INSPECTION .)

Connect the solenoid valve connector.
Install the insulator.
Tightening torque

8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 72-97 in.lb}
Install the catalytic converter.
(See EXHAUST SYSTEM .)
Connect the negative battery cable.
Install the battery cover.
Install the engine cover.
