Inspection Using An Oscilloscope (Reference)

Turbine sensor

TCM terminal: 2G (+)-2M (-)
Oscilloscope setting: 5 V/DIV (Y) 250 microseconds/DIV (X)
Measuring condition: Vehicle speed at 20 km/h {12 mph} (M range 1 GR)

TCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the engine cover.
(See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove in the order indicated. See Fig 9.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
