Fitting Pistons

Measure piston diameter 1.68" (42.6 mm) from top of piston, at a 90-degree angle to piston pin. See PISTONS, PINS & RINGS under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. If piston diameter is less than standard diameter replace piston. Measure cylinder bore in block at top, bottom and 2" (50 mm) from top of bore. Repeat measurement at same levels at a 90-degree angle.
