Fuel-Filler Lid And Opener Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener, remove the left side rear side trim. See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  2. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable, perform the following.
    1. Remove the driver's seat. See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    2. Remove the driver-side B-pillar lower trim. See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    3. Remove the driver-side front scuff plate. See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    4. Remove the driver-side rear scuff plate. See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    5. Remove the driver-side C-pillar trim. See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  5. Adjust the fuel-filler lid. See FUEL-FILLER LID ADJUSTMENT  .
