Perform VEHICLE PREPARATION . Drive vehicle in stop and go traffic for 6 minutes. Include one idle period of 30 seconds. Accelerate vehicle to 45 MPH (35 MPH on Escort and Tracer). Maintain speed for one minute. Stop vehicle and repeat QUICK TEST .
