Pinpoint Test D: B15A5:56

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    RFA B15A5:56 Bluetooth Low Energy Module (BLEM): Invalid/Incompatible Configuration Sets when any bluetooth antenna is found to have a mismatch with the RFA module.

    Possible Sources 

    • Bluetooth Antenna mismatch.
    • Self-test not completed

  2. D1 CHECK RFA (REMOTE FUNCTION ACTUATOR) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the RFA module self-test.

    After performing the self-test do any other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) appear? 

    Yes  DIAGNOSE the concern. REFER to the DTC chart in this information. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart 
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by not completing the self-test.
