Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes: Installation

Install the transmission fluid cooler tubes, connect the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the transmission fluid cooler and position the clamps.
1. Push the transmission fluid cooler tubes into position.
2. Rotate the transmission fluid cooler tubes into place.

Install the transmission fluid tube cooler bracket bolts.
Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

Install the active grille shutter. Refer to: Active Grille Shutter
Inspect and lubricate the seal and backing ring.

Install the cooler bypass valve-to-transmission tube and the bolt.
Torque

: 124 lb.in (14 Nm)

Inspect and lubricate the seal and backing ring.

Install the transmission fluid warmer-to-cooler bypass valve tube and the stud bolt. Connect the wiring harness retainer.
Torque

: 124 lb.in (14 Nm)

Install the cooler bypass valve and tighten the nut.

Tighten the transmission fluid cooler tube fittings.

Install the tube retainer and connect the transmission fluid cooler tube assembly-to-cooler bypass valve quick connect coupling.

Install the transmission cooler tube assembly-to-cooler bypass valve tube secondary latch.
