P0365 - Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit (Bank 1)

DTC DESCRIPTION P0365 - CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR B CIRCUIT (BANK 1)

Description:	This DTC sets when the CMP11 (6.2L) or CMP12 (all others) circuit signal cannot be detected. For additional camshaft position (CMP) sensor location information, refer to ENGINE CONTROL COMPONENTS .
Possible Causes:	CMP11 circuit open (6.2L) CMP12 circuit open (all others) CMP11 circuit short to ground (6.2L) CMP12 circuit short to ground (all others) CMP11 circuit short to voltage (6.2L) CMP12 circuit short to voltage (all others) SIGRTN circuit open VRSRTN circuit open CMP11 circuit shorted to other CMP circuits (6.2L) CMP12 circuit shorted to other CMP circuits (all others) Camshaft timing incorrectly set Camshaft position sensor trigger wheel out of alignment Damaged camshaft position bank 1 sensor 1 (CMP11) shielding (6.2L) Damaged camshaft position bank 1 sensor 2 (CMP12) shielding (all others) CMP12 sensor incorrectly installed (6.2L) CMP12 sensor incorrectly installed (all others) Damaged mechanical vacuum pump (Expedition, F-150, Navigator, Transit) Damaged CMP11 sensor (6.2L) Damaged CMP12 sensor (all others)
Diagnostic Aids:	Harness routing, harness alterations, incorrect shielding, or electrical interference from other systems may have an intermittent impact on the CMP signal. For Expedition, F-150, Navigator and Transit, check for a camshaft position sensor trigger wheel alignment concern and a damaged mechanical vacuum pump. Make sure the mechanical vacuum pump oil feed hole is not restricted. Repair as necessary.
