BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC	Description	Fault Trigger Conditions
B121B:23	Liftgate/Tailgate Compartment Lid Control/Release Switch: Circuit Short To Ground	An on-demand DTC that sets when the BCM detects a short to ground from any of the keyless entry keypad input circuits.

Possible Causes

Fuse
Wiring, terminals or connectors
Keyless entry keypad (part of the front door window moulding)
BCM

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks

Inspect the front door window moulding for damage
Inspect the BJB fuse 11 (5A)
