Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The delayed accessory relay, located in the BJB, provides the voltage for all power window operation as well as many other vehicle systems. The delayed accessory relay is controlled by the BCM.

For vehicles equipped with manual rear windows, the front windows share the same fuse and common ground circuit (provided through the master window control switch).

For vehicles equipped with power rear windows, the front and rear windows operate from separate fuses but still share a common ground circuit.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B131A:12 Delayed Accessory Power: Circuit Short To Battery This DTC sets when the BCM detects the delayed accessory relay control circuit is shorted to voltage.
