Pinpoint Test F : U1007: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The battery monitoring sensor is attached to the negative battery cable. It is supplied battery voltage by the BJB. It communicates battery conditions to the BCM through a dedicated LIN circuit.
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |

| U1007:00 | Lost Communication With Battery Monitoring Sensor "A": No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets if the BCM does not detect communication through the LIN circuit. This can be a result of an open or short in the LIN circuit or the voltage supply circuit. |
| B1131:87 | Wiper Motor Module: Missing Message | This continuous DTC sets when the BCM does not receive a reply from the driver side windshield wiper motor over the LIN. An internal failure of the driver side windshield wiper motor, a voltage supply or ground circuit can cause this concern. |

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Inspect the battery monitoring sensor.
- Inspect Battery monitoring sensor connector
- Inspect the BJB fuse 22 (15A).
