AV1 CHECK THE SAFETY BELT WARNING CHIME OPERATION
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Monitor the safety belt warning chime when the ignition switch is transitioned from OFF to RUN for 6 seconds.
Does the safety belt warning chime operate for approximately 6 seconds?

Yes GO to AV2

AV2 CHECK THE SMART UNLOCK FUNCTION
- Verify that the smart unlock function operates correctly. REFER to: Locks, Latches and Entry Systems - Vehicles With: One-Touch Open Driver Window . REFER to: LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS - VEHICLES WITH: ONE-TOUCH OPEN AND CLOSE FRONT WINDOWS
Does the smart unlock function operate correctly?

Yes GO to AV3

No

AV3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to DTC Chart: IPC .

No GO to AV4

AV4 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform a BCM self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to: Body Control Module (BCM) .

No Refer to BCM GUIDED ROUTINE TESTING
