Clutch Actuator: Removal

  1. Remove the clutch and damper unit. Refer to: Clutch and Damper Unit .
  2. NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.
    NOTE: A small amount of adhesive is applied between the Z-washer and the bearing surface to aid factory assembly. Do not add adhesive for service repairs.

    Remove the washer. Inspect the washer for damage.

  3. NOTE: Note the position of the component before removal.

    Remove the engagement bearing.

    Remove the spring retainer bolts from the spring retainers and remove the spring retainers.

  5. Remove the clutch actuator lever bolts.

  6. NOTE: Take extra care when handling the component.

    Remove the clutch actuator levers.
