Clutch Actuator Motor: Installation

Clutch Actuator Motor A and B

1. Clean the clutch actuator motor.
2. Apply High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant to both clutch actuator motor surfaces where indicated.
  Material: Motorcraft® High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant / XL-2

Apply High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant to the transmission housing surfaces where indicated.
Material: Motorcraft® High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant / XL-2

Install the clutch actuator motors in the transmission case and make sure they rest against the case all the way.

Install the clutch actuator motor bolts.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

NOTE: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.

NOTE: Make sure the component terminals are not bent or damaged.
1. Reconnect the clutch actuator motor electrical connector.
2. Push the electrical connector lock.
3. Push the electrical connector lock.

Clutch Actuator Motor B
Position the underbody shield and install the retainers.
