Transmission Case: Disassembly

  1. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .
  2. Remove the LH halfshaft seal.

  3. Remove the LH differential bearing cup. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle, 307-678 Remover, Bearing Cone.

  4. NOTE: This step only applies to transmissions built after April-2013.

    Remove the oil spout.
