NOTE: Take care not to damage the differential impulse ring.
Using the special tools, remove the differential thrust bearing. Use Special Service Tool: 204-069 (T81P-1104-C) Remover/Installer, Front Wheel Hub. Use the General Equipment: Bearing Separator
- Remove and discard the differential ring gear bolts. Lightly tap the ring gear to separate it from the differential case.
- Clean all parts in clean solvent and dry with compressed air.
