Throttle Body: Removal

  1. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .
  2. For exploded views, see fuel charging and controls - description and operation. Refer to: Fuel Charging and Controls - Component Location .
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
  4. Disconnect the throttle body (TB) electrical connector.
  5. Remove the 4 throttle body (TB) bolts and the throttle body (TB).
  6. Remove and discard the throttle body (TB) gasket.
