Audio Unit Antenna Cable: Removal

Instrument Panel Antenna Cable
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to: Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel .
- Remove the ACM. Refer to: Audio Front Control Module (ACM) .
- Remove the footrest pad.
- Position the carpet rearward.
- Disconnect the audio unit antenna cables at the LH lower cowl.

NOTE: This cable includes a splitter with a cable routed to the APIM.
Release the cable retainers and remove the cable following the routing shown.
Body Antenna Cable Access
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.NOTE: The original equipment AM/FM/Satellite radio body antenna cable is part of the wiring harness and cannot be removed. This procedure refers to replacement of the cable only by overlaying the cable. - Lower the rear of the headliner. Refer to: Headliner - Lowering .
- Disconnect the audio unit antenna cable.
- Position aside the weatherstrip.
- Remove the LH finish panel.
- Remove the LH trim panel.
- Remove the LH sill plate.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the LH lower cowl trim panel.
- Remove the footrest pad.
- Position the carpet rearward.
- Disconnect the audio unit antenna cables at the LH lower cowl.
