Pinpoint Test Am : The Vehicle Dynamics (SELECTABLE Suspension Mode) Message Center Display Is Inoperative
- AM1 CHECK THE VEHICLE DYNAMICS SYSTEM SETTINGS IN THE MESSAGE CENTER
- Ignition ON.
- In the settings menu of the message center, verify the vehicle dynamics setting menu display is active (not grayed out).
Is the vehicle dynamics setting menu selection display active?
Yes GO to AM3 No GO to AM2 - AM2 PERFORM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to DTC Chart: IPC . No CARRY OUT the IPC PMI using As-Built-data. TEST the system for normal operation. If the vehicle setting menu display is still grayed out (inactive), Refer to IPC HARDWARE TESTING - AM3 CHECK THE GWM (GATEWAY MODULE A) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, check the GWM Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to: Communications Network . No DIAGNOSE all Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Refer to: Vehicle Dynamic Suspension .
