Removal & Installation (Front)

Turn air suspension off. Turn ignition switch to the UNLOCKED position. Raise vehicle on hoist. See REPAIR PRECAUTIONS . Remove wheel and tire assembly. Loosen lower ball joint nut 3-4 turns. With nut attached, rap spindle and separate ball joint. Support upper control arm and spindle. See Fig 1. Mark position of camber adjustment cam. Remove tension strut to control arm nut. Hold strut by flats with wrench while turning nut. Remove lower shock and pivot (camber) bolts and nuts. Remove lower ball joint nut and control arm. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
