Spring & Strut Assembly (Front): Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use following NEW bolts and nuts: ball joint nut, stabilizer bar link nut, steering knuckle-to-strut bolt and tie rod end nut.
  2. Tighten strut-to-body top mounting nuts to specification after all other components are installed and tightened to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Replace air spring solenoid "O" rings if damaged. Once all components are installed, air spring must be refilled before lowering vehicle. See AIR SPRING FILL OR VENT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (AIR SYSTEM & ELECTRICAL).
