VIP Test Connector

  1. Instrument cluster is connected to VIP test connector and EEC-IV module for internal diagnostics. Check continuity of circuits No. 915 (Pink/Light Blue wire) and No. 223 (Tan/Light Green wire) between VIP test connector and instrument cluster connector C2-1 and EEC-IV control module.
  2. VIP test connector is located on left side of engine compartment, above wheel well. VIP test connector contains Tan-Red, Tan/Orange, Pink/Light Blue and Gray/Red wires. EEC-IV module is located on left corner of firewall, near brake booster, and contains a 60-pin connector. Repair wiring if necessary.
