Oil Pressure Warning Circuit

  1. Oil pressure switch opens with oil pressure. Ensure oil pressure warning is displayed only with ignition on and engine off.
  2. Disconnect oil pressure switch wiring harness. No warning should be displayed. Connect jumper wire from oil pressure wiring harness to ground. Warning should be displayed with jumper wire connected. If no warning is displayed, check circuit between instrument cluster connector C1, pin No. 8 (White/Red wire) and oil pressure switch for open.
