Instrument Cluster Dimming
- Instrument cluster dimming is controlled by rheostat in headlight switch through circuit No. 19 (Light Blue/Red wire) between headlight switch and instrument cluster.
- If instrument cluster does not dim with other interior lights, ensure voltage varies with rheostat at instrument cluster C1, pin No. 3 (Light Blue/Red wire) and instrument cluster connector C2-2, pin No. 29 (Light Blue/Red wire).
- If interior lights and instrument cluster do not dim, check continuity from headlight switch to No. 7 fuse (5-amp) in fuse panel below left side of instrument panel, near steering column.
