Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2024 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2024 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2024 - ]
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
- DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [03/2024 - ]
- DISCONNECT NO. 7 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Disconnect the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 7 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.NOTE:
- Do not apply force to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly when disconnecting the No. 7 water by-pass hose.
- Do not damage the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
HINT:
When disconnecting the No. 7 water by-pass hose, slide the clip, rotate the hose and pull it straight off the pipe.
