Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  2. REMOVE ECM 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [03/2024 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2024 - ]

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2024 - ]

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2024 - ]

  9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [03/2024 - ]

  10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  11. REMOVE FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE)

      1. Slide the clip and disconnect the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) from the water outlet.

        HINT: 

        Use a container to catch any engine coolant which flows out of the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) and water outlet.

      2. Slide the clip and disconnect the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) from the transmission oil cooler.

        HINT: 

        Use a container to catch any engine coolant which flows out of the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) and transmission oil cooler.
