Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. except Sport Package:

      Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - ]

    2. for Sport Package:

      Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59

  5. REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE LH

  7. REMOVE FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE RH

  8. REMOVE VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 62

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE LH

      Remove in this Direction - -
  11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE RH

      Remove in this Direction - -
  12. DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the bolt.
      2. Disengage the 2 guides and disconnect the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
      3. Remove the O-ring from the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  13. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A

      1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly A.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  14. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY B

      1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly B.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly B.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  15. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER BRACKET

  17. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides, and remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly and radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
