Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [09/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INVERTER PROTECTOR 

    See step  6

  4. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE 
    See step  7
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 INVERTER PROTECTOR 

    See step  19

  6. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 CHARGER INTAKE DUCT 

    See step  8

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 CONVERTER COOLING INTAKE DUCT

  15. DISCONNECT HV SOCKET INVERTER WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      *a Green-colored Lock - -
      Slide - -
      1. Slide the green-colored lock of the connector as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.
      2. Disengage the clamp.
  16. DISCONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

  17. REMOVE DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    NOTE:

    If the DC/DC converter assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  18. REMOVE DC/DC CONVERTER COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Be sure not to touch the fan part of the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly.
    • Do not lift the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly using the wire harness.
    • Do not allow any foreign matter to enter the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly.

  19. REMOVE DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    NOTE:

    If the DC/DC converter assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      *a Cooling Fin - -
      1. Disengage the 2 clamps.
      2. Remove the 4 bolts and DC/DC converter assembly.
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the cooling fin.
