Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [09/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INVERTER PROTECTOR 

    See step  6

  4. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE 
    See step  7
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 INVERTER PROTECTOR 

    See step  19

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY 
  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  9. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH BELT HOLE COVER RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  11. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  12. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  13. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  14. REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 
    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38
  15. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 
    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39
  16. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 
    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40
  17. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 
    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41
  18. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54
  19. DISCONNECT NO. 2 EV CHARGE CONNECTOR DRAIN HOSE

  20. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  21. REMOVE INLET AC CHARGER CABLE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      *a Green-colored Lock - -
      Slide - -
      1. Using a screwdriver, slide the green-colored lock of the connector as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the inlet AC charger cable connector.
      2. Disengage the 2 clamps.
