Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

- DISCONNECT INTERCOOLER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- REMOVE CAM TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2)
- Disconnect the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts and cam timing oil control solenoid assembly from the timing chain cover assembly.NOTE:
If the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the O-ring from the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly.NOTE:
- The O-ring may stick timing chain cover assembly.
- Do not drop the O-ring inside of the timing chain cover assembly.
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

- REMOVE ELECTRIC HEATER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]
- DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 - REMOVE CAM TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (for Intake Side of Bank 2)
- Disconnect the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts and cam timing oil control solenoid assembly from the timing chain cover assembly.NOTE:
If the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the O-ring from the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly.NOTE:
- The O-ring may stick timing chain cover assembly.
- Do not drop the O-ring inside of the timing chain cover assembly.
