Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 TRACTION BATTERY COVER

  2. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    NOTE:

    Before installing the service plug grip, check that no parts or tools remain and that the high voltage terminals and connectors are connected securely.

      1. While wearing insulated gloves, and temporarily install the service plug grip as indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.
        WARNING:

        Do not allow any foreign matter to fall into the HV supply battery assembly.

      2. Rotate the handle of the service plug grip 90° toward the HV supply battery assembly and slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) shown in the illustration until a click sound is heard to install the service plug grip.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY SEAL 
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 TRACTION BATTERY COVER 
    NOTE:
    • Check that there is no foreign matter attached to the contact surface of the No. 2 traction battery cover.
    • If foreign matter has adhered, wipe clean with a cloth. Do not use an alcohol based cleaner.

    Torque: 12.2 N.m (124 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

  5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

  6. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 
  9. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
  10. PERFORM HIGH VOLTAGE FUSE ACCUMULATED LOAD HISTORY RESET

  11. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [09/2023 - ]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
