Installation [10/2022 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL NO. 2 FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- INSTALL FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- INSTALL NO. 2 INVERTER COOLING PIPE
*a Alignment Mark *b 2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.) *c Up *d RH Side - Connect the inverter cooling hose to the No. 2 inverter cooling pipe and slide the clip to secure it.NOTE:
- To prevent foreign matter from entering the No. 2 inverter cooling pipe, do not remove the pieces of cloth from the pipe and disconnected hose until installation.
- Do not apply excessive force to the inverter cooling hose.
- Engage the clamp.
- Install the nut and bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf)
- Connect the inverter cooling hose to the No. 2 inverter cooling pipe and slide the clip to secure it.
- INSTALL HV BATTERY CHARGER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly.
- Installing the HV battery charger wire in the incorrect order will cause the parts to break.
*a Waterproof Seal - - - Connect the HV battery charger wire with the 4 bolts A.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 89 in.lbf)
- Connect the HV battery charger wire with the bolt B.
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
- Connect the HV battery charger wire to the rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly with 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Push in the HV battery charger wire so that the waterproof seal cannot be seen.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Temporarily install the 2 bolts.NOTE:
- To prevent the threads from being damaged, temporarily tighten the 2 bolts by hand.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Using an insulated tool, fully tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Be sure to use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts.
- Connect the HV battery charger wire with the 4 bolts A.
- INSTALL UPPER INVERTER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER WITH TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2022 - 10/2024] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2024 - ]
- CONNECT HV BATTERY CHARGER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- Connect the HV battery charger wire with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- Engage the clamp.
- Connect the HV battery charger wire with the 3 nuts.
- Using an insulated tool, install the HV battery charger wire with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- Using an insulated tool, connect the ground terminal with the nut.
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
- Using an insulated tool, install the HV battery charger wire with the 2 nuts.
- CONNECT NO. 2 HV FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- INSTALL NO. 6 HV BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 - INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL REAR MAIN MUFFLER HEAT INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
- INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE COVER ASSEMBLY
Torque: 4.9 N.m (50 kgf/cm, 43 in.lbf)
- INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH
Bolt:
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
- INSTALL NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET
Torque: 29 N.m (296 kgf/cm, 21 ft.lbf)
- INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- INSTALL UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL NO. 2 FLOOR MAT
- INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY

- Temporarily install the rear seat cushion leg sub-assembly with the 7 bolts.
- Fully tighten the 7 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 24 N.m (245 kgf/cm, 18 ft.lbf)
- Engage the clamp.
