Installation [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL HEATER WATER VALVE ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 2.6 N.m (27 kgf/cm, 23 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL HEATER WIRING 
  3. INSTALL HEATER ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

      1. Engage the guide.
      2. Install the heater accessory assembly with the nut and bolt in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

      3. Connect the connector.
  4. CONNECT OUTLET HEATER WATER HOSE 
  5. CONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE A

      *a View A *b Marking (Blue)
      *c Hose Clip Installation Range (120°) - -
      1. Connect the inlet heater water hose A with the marking within the area shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force to the inlet heater water hose A.

      2. Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
      3. Engage the clamp.
  6. CONNECT HEATER WATER HOSE L

      *a View A *b Marking (Blue)
      *c Hose Clip Installation Range (120°) - -
      1. Connect the heater water hose L with the marking within the area shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose L.

      2. Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
  7. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING HOSE AND ACCESSORY

      1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surfaces of the air conditioning hose and accessory.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

      2. Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning hose and accessory.
        NOTE:

        Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the air conditioning hose and accessory with the bolt and nut.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  8. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE 
    See step  5
  9. CONNECT HEATER WATER HOSE

      *a View A *b Marking (Yellow)
      *c Hose Clip Installation Range (120°) - -
      1. Connect the heater water hose with the marking within the area shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose.

      2. Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
  10. INSTALL HEATER WATER HOSE

      *c Marking (Blue) *d Marking (Pink)
      *e Hose Clip Installation Range (120°) - -
      1. Install the heater water hose with the marking within the area shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose.

      2. Engage the 2 clips within the area shown in the illustration.
  11. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 47
  12. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  13. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2022 - ]

  14. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  15. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  17. WARM UP COMPRESSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  18. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
