Removal [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
      1. for LED Type Turn Signal Light:

        Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

      2. for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light:

        Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE 
    See step  4
  5. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING HOSE AND ACCESSORY 
    See step  4
  6. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A

      1. Remove the nut and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly A.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 DISCHARGE TUBE

      1. Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 1 discharge tube.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 discharge tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  8. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the 2 clips to disconnect the front fender liner RH.

      1. Disengage the clamp.
      2. Disconnect the connector.
      3. Remove the nut.
      4. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.
      5. Remove the 2 O-rings from the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 6 DISCHARGE TUBE

      1. Disengage the clamp.
      2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 6 discharge tube.
      3. Remove the O-ring from the No. 6 discharge tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  10. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE

      1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction hose.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant suction hose.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 3 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Disengage the clamp.
      3. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 3 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
      4. Remove the O-ring from the No. 3 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
      2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 2 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  13. REMOVE MAGNET VALVE ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 MAGNET VALVE ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the bolt.
      2. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 magnet valve assembly.
      3. Remove the O-ring from the discharge tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
