Removal [10/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. SECURE VEHICLE 
    1. for UA81E / UA81F:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    2. for P810:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    3. for PC60:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. for UA81E / UA81F:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    2. for P810:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    3. for PC60:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. As shown in the illustration, open the rear console armrest assembly toward the front passenger seat.
      2. Check that the lock plate protrudes when the stopper is pushed.
      3. As shown in the illustration, push the front passenger seat side release lever while closing the rear console armrest assembly.
      4. Lift the rear console armrest assembly.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Disengage the 6 clips and 4 guides to remove the upper rear console panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Disconnect the connector.

      Place Hand Here Push in this Direction
      1. Insert the front and rear retainer into the groove of the rear console armrest assembly.
      2. While holding the position shown in the illustration, close until the lock plate strikes the retainer.
      3. Push the driver seat side release lever and push the rear console armrest assembly in the direction shown in the illustration.
      4. Check that the rear console armrest assembly can be opened and closed.
  6. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the center instrument panel register assembly.
      3. Disengage the 2 clamps and 4 connectors.
  7. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
  8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 10 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.
      3. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the 3 connectors.
  14. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. for UA81E / UA81F:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

    2. for P810:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

    3. for PC60:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  15. REMOVE BLE INDOOR DIGITAL KEY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Key System)

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX SILENCER PAD 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 console box silencer pad is necessary.

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX SILENCER PAD 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 1 console box silencer pad is necessary.
