Installation [09/2014 - 10/2018]: Procedure

  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Temporarily install the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

      HINT: 

      Insert the bolt with the threaded end facing the front of the vehicle.

  2. INSTALL REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR 

    See step  1

  3. INSTALL REAR UPPER COIL SPRING INSULATOR 

    See step  2

  4. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING 

    See step  3

  5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  4

  6. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  3 [09/2014 - 11/2017], or see step  5 [11/2017 - ]

  7. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Temporarily install the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

      HINT: 

      Insert the bolt with the threaded end facing the front of the vehicle.

    2. Temporarily install the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly to the rear axle assembly with the bolt and nut.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

      HINT: 

      Insert the bolt with the threaded end facing the front of the vehicle.

  8. TEMPORARILY INSTALL TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Dynamic Rear Steering) 

    See step  1

  9. INSTALL REAR STEERING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. STABILIZE SUSPENSION 

    See step  7

  11. INSTALL TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Dynamic Rear Steering) 

    See step  3

  12. INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  13. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly (rear suspension member sub-assembly side) with the bolt.

      Torque: 150 N.m (1530 kgf/cm, 111 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

    2. Install the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly (rear axle assembly side) with the bolt.

      Torque: 145 N.m (1479 kgf/cm, 107 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

  14. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly (rear suspension member sub-assembly side) with the bolt.

      Torque: 90 N.m (918 kgf/cm, 66 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly (rear axle assembly side) with the bolt.

      Torque: 90 N.m (918 kgf/cm, 66 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

  15. INSTALL REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  14

  16. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER 
    1. Install the rear suspension arm cover to the rear No. 2 suspension arm with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 12 N.m (122 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

  17. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  18. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [11/2017 - 09/2020]

  19. INITIALIZE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SIGNAL (for Single Beam Headlight) 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 10/2018]

  20. INITIALIZE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SIGNAL (for Triple Beam Headlight) 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 10/2018]

  21. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING (for Single Beam Headlight) 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2014 - 10/2018]

  22. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING (for Triple Beam Headlight) 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2014 - 10/2018]
