Adjustment [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION
- Move the shift lever to N.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly from the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly.
*a Lever - Turn the transmission control shaft lever LH clockwise until it stops, then turn it counterclockwise 2 notches.
*1 Transmission Control Shaft Lever LH *a P *b R *c N - Temporarily install the nut to the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly.
*a Lever Rear of the Vehicle - Tighten the nut while lightly pushing the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly toward the rear of the vehicle.
Torque: 12.8 N.m (131 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf)
NOTE:Do not push the lever of the transmission floor shift assembly too hard.
- INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

- INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)

- INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION

- INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
