DTC P2716: Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Electrical (Shift Solenoid Valve SLT) [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

- INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT)
- Disconnect the F47 transmission wire connector.
*a Component without harness connected
(Transmission Wire) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 13 (SLT+) - 5 (SLT-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω 13 (SLT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher 5 (SLT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

- Disconnect the F47 transmission wire connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM)
- Connect the F47 transmission wire connector.

(to ECM) - Disconnect the F3 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F3-5 (SLT+) - F3-4 (SLT-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω F3-5 (SLT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F3-4 (SLT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

REPLACE ECM. Refer to COMPONENTS [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to COMPONENTS [10/2015 - 11/2017]

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- Connect the F47 transmission wire connector.
- INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT
- Remove the shift solenoid valve SLT.
*a Shift Solenoid Valve SLT - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω - Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, then check the movement of the valve.
OK
The solenoid makes an operating sound.
