DTC P0748: Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Electrical (Shift Solenoid Valve SL1) [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

- INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL1)
- Disconnect the F47 transmission wire connector.
*a Component without harness connected
(Transmission Wire) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 11 (SL1+) - 3 (SL1-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω 11 (SL1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher 3 (SL1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

- Disconnect the F47 transmission wire connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM)
- Connect the F47 transmission wire connector.
- Disconnect the F1 ECM connector.

(to ECM) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F1-3 (SL1+) - F1-2 (SL1-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω F1-3 (SL1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F1-2 (SL1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL1
- Remove the shift solenoid valve SL1.
*a Shift Solenoid Valve SL1 - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω - Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the solenoid valve connector, then check the movement of the valve.
OK
The solenoid makes an operating sound.
